Garve Cottage,

Garve Cottage is well located in the village, easily found on arrival, as it is opposite the Church of Scotland and is the only cottage with a wooden porch on the front.The location is ideal for those visitors who want to leave the car at home at the end of the day. The village shop and hotels are within easy walking distance along the sea front

The lounge is  furnished, with a leather two-seater sofa and two chairs. There is a full size colour TV and a video. The fireplace is Victorian in style with an open chimney, fuel for the fire can be purchased locally. Alternatively an electric fire stands in the fireplace. The lounge also has two convenient occasional tables, and a CD stereo player

.

The kitchen is complete with oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, and fridge with a small freezer compartment. There is a separate dining room adjacent to the kitchen. In the utility room there is a full size automatic washing machine and a tumble dryer. Also in the utility room you will find the fire grates, iron ironing board and clothes airier.

The shower room is downstairs, and has a shower cubicle and electric shower, wash hand basin and toilet.

The downstairs,  floor is laminate in the lounge, hall  and dining room, the kitchen and utility have ceramic floor tiles, the staricase, upstairs bedrooms are carpeted, and upstairs bathroom is vynil flooring.

Upstairs there is a bathroom, with bath, wash hand basin and toilet. Also upstairs there are two bedrooms. A double room and a twin room. Both rooms are furnished with pine beds and pine bedroom furniture. Bed linen and a set of towels per person are included in the price.

There is also a tiny box room, which has a full size single bed, but we only recommend a child using this room.

The background heating :- There is a large storage heater in the downstairs lobby and a small one upstairs these provide a good back ground heat and are included in the price. Also included in the price is the hot water, on the white meter system.

In addition to this there is the open fire places in the lounge and the dining room and three electric room heaters, all of which are optional at your discretion. Additional electricity for sockets lights cooker etc, is supplied on a £1 coin meter, which is located above the door in the utility room.
