About Us.

In 1991 Mrs MacKenzie was approached by Mr and Mrs Hendry and asked to look after their letting properties. Since then other properties have joined in what can loosely be termed as a co-operative arrangement.

Mrs MacKenzie acts as the administrator for this small group of properties in Lochcarron. The properties in the group are all individually owned as follows:-

The co-operative arrangement primarily allows the advertising net to be spread further for a reasonable budget, it also provides the visitors with some choice between the cottages and their locations depending upon individual tastes, needs and preferences.

While Mrs MacKenzie will organise the day to day of the cleaners as required they too work for the property owners. Property owners in the area feel free to contact Mrs MacKenzie for more information on joining in this arrangement.

Mrs MacKenzie acts only as an administrator for the collective owners, and customers make their booking contract with the individual owners. Mrs MacKenzie will collate all admin task relating to the property and report to the owners as a booking is generated then collate end of month returns, which allows for a good flow of information and a simple set of paperwork for accounts. Owners have great flixibility over when how and what weeks are made available for letting.

All enquiries and bookings are made through Mrs Carol MacKenzie (Lochcarron Holiday Properties) c/o Craig Cottage, Achnashellach, Strathcarron, Ross Shire, Scotland IV54 8YU, but it should be noted that all brochures, properties and facilities are under the control of the individual property owners.

Mrs MacKenzie is usually available to supply information and any assistance to visitor while they are in Lochcarron on holiday. She is familiar with the area and will endeavour to find out any information requested by the visitor. However family commitments mean that Mrs MacKenzie cannot be in contact 24 / 7, but any messages left on her answering machine will be given attention a.s.a.p. (Tel: 01520 766288).

Mrs MacKenzie takes every care to ensure the accuracy of the property descriptions and all information is given in good faith and believed correct at the time of publication, but she cannot be held reponsible for changes beyond her control or be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of the owner resulting in loss, injury or accident caused by the hirer.
