Shellach Cottage

Shellach is a detached cottage with off road parking. There is a small stream running beside it and it has views over the Loch to the hills opposite. It is situated approximately a quarter of a mile outside of the main village on the road to North Strome.

The Cottage has been well modernised yet retains its traditional character. The accommodation is on two floors. Downstairs the living room has a Victorian tiled fireplace, TV and Video,a DVD player,  and two two-seater sofas and a chairs, in the cottage style plus occasional tables etc.

The dining room also has an open fireplace, a pine table and chairs, a selection of books and games and a cassette radio.

The Kitchen is very well equipped, with an electric cooker, which has four hot plates, grill and oven. A microwave oven, automatic washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a small fridge with freezer compartment, and a good supply of crockery and utensils. A kitchen towel, tea towel and dishcloth are provided.
 

The bathroom is also downstairs, with an electric shower into the bath, a wc and a wash hand basin, a bath towel and a hand towel per person are provided.

The bedrooms are upstairs and consist of a double room, a twin room and a tiny single room. The bedrooms are well furnished and all bed linens are included. The single room is only suitable for a child.

An oil boiler in the kitchen controls the hot water and central heating, the cottage is double-glazed and the heating is very efficient this is included in the price. However there is a £1 coin meter for electricity, you are welcome to bring your pet but there is a £10 charge, and pets must not be left alone in the property at any time, and they must be kept off the furniture.
